Ability is what you're capable of doing, Attitude determines how well you do it
Personal/Business Development covers activities that improve awareness and identity, develop talents and potential, build human capital and facilitate employability, enhance the quality of life and contribute to the realization of dreams and aspirations. Personal development takes place over the course of a person's entire life. The concept, while geared widely on self-help, also involves formal and informal activities for developing others in roles such as teacher, guide, counselor, manager, life coach, mentor and others a well.
When personal development takes place in the context of institutions, it refers to the methods, programs, tools, techniques, and assessment systems that support human development at the individual level in organizations. Personal development can also include developing other people through a professional service like that of BMR-Melvin Consulting through the assessment, training, or coaching that we provide.
Any sort of development—whether economic, political, biological, organizational or personal—requires a framework if one wishes to know whether a change has actually occurred. In the case of personal development, an individual often functions as the primary judge of improvement or of regression, but validation of objective improvement requires assessment using standard criteria. Personal-development frameworks may include:
Goals or Benchmarks:
That define the end-points.
Strategies or plans: For reaching goals
Measurement and Assessment:
Of progress, levels or stages that define milestones along a development path.
A Feedback System:
To provide information on changes
Financial literacy is the ability to use knowledge and skills to manage one's financial resources effectively for lifetime financial security. Understanding basic money management skills such as living within a budget and handling credit and debt is very important for everyone but especially students. Having little or no knowledge regarding financial management can affect students in many different aspects of their life.
Understanding basic financial concepts allows people to know how to navigate in the financial system. People with appropriate financial literacy training make better financial decisions and manage money better than those without such training.
Creating a financial plan helps you see the big picture and set long and short-term life goals, a crucial step in mapping out your financial future. When you have a financial plan, it's easier to make financial decisions and stay on track to meet your goals.

We Understand that you might think mentoring and coaching are similar or even the same thing. But they're not. Both warrant consideration in the workplace. Here are five differentiations that we think are important
There are at least 20 more that we could tell you about but the point is this:
The confusion often causes companies to choose mentoring or coaching without understanding that they serve a different purpose and follow different paths to a person's development. Not understanding these differences often leads to disappointing results and the mistake of blaming coaching or mentoring, rather than realizing that the company created the wrong system.
Remember, although mentoring and coaching are different, they do share common elements. It is often a difference in emphasis and outcomes that creates the distinction. Also, there are some coaches who have the ability to act as mentors. Just as there are mentors who, in some cases, act more like coaches. What we shared here are general differences that may not apply in all situations but that do apply in a very large number of them.
A Mastermind Group is a concept where individuals with similar goals or interests come together to support, collaborate, and advise each other. This group functions as a collective brain trust where members can share their skills, experiences, and resources to help each other overcome challenges and achieve success.
A Mastermind Group is like your personal board of directors for success. It’s a select gathering of minds, typically 3-6 smart, driven professionals, who brainstorm, support, and challenge each other. And hey, don’t limit yourself to in-person meetups. Virtual masterminds? They’re a goldmine, especially for remote teams. A few online sessions can spark profound “aha” moments and breakthroughs.

Do You Want To Motivate Your Team, Or Inspire Them?
INSPIRATION is something that you feel on the inside, while MOTIVATION is something from the outside that compels you to take action. Inspiration is a driving force, while motivation is a pulling force.
Motivation can be a very commonly spoken about subject and some people do not understand how motivation actually works. The interesting thing is that some people seem to mistake motivation for inspiration. They think that both words have the same meaning. Motivation needs to come from a sources called a Motive or a Reason. Without those 2 things, Motivation will be hard to come by.
On the other hand, Inspiration is more of a Process that comes from within you. We can help you or your team with both.
