Daniel Melvin was born and raised in Detroit Michigan. After spending time in the Marine Corps, Daniel worked in management at the Detroit branch of the U.S. Federal Reserve System for 11 years. During that period he won, an unprecedented, two Presidential Achievement Awards, the highest award to be presented by the U.S. Federal Reserve System, as well as several other Awards of Achievement for his innovative, Creative and “Out of The Box” thinking. This led to proposals that caused several departments within that branch and others across the country that followed suit, to become more cost and operationally efficient than they had ever been before.
Although Daniel was a natural when it came to out of the box thinking in areas of Growth and Development, his passion was and still is music, more specifically, singing. Being raised in Detroit during the Motown explosion around the world, Daniel was literally able to learn and develop his talent with the help of some of the Legends of Motown. The results of which was him being able to travel the world as a professional singer.
In 2001 Daniel and his wife Barbara, moved to Florida where he continued singing while still becoming a successful, well publicized entrepreneur and an award winning Community involved partner & leader. He’s been repeatedly written about in several of the local business and community magazines as well as The Naples Daily News who selected him as one of the Inaugural Winners of their Annual 25 over 50 Community Service Awards for his work and contributions to an array of non-profit organizations. He continues to help develop & mentor young men and women who have interests and desires related to the performance and visual arts.
In 2014 Daniel started an annual fundraising drive called “The Party With A Purpose Foundation” through his for profit corporation, Most Romantic Voice Productions, LLC., of which he, his wife and an outstanding group of volunteers have successfully been able to raise funds to donate to a newly selected Non-Profit organization each year. Organizations such as, the Hodges University Diversity Program, Dress for Success SW Florida, the NAACP ACT-SO Program for Children, The National Association for Mental Illness, The Alzheimer's Support Network, The Parkinson's Foundation, Wounded Warriors of Collier County, Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Sun Coast, Fostering Success (formerly known as Friends of Foster Children Forever) and many more.
Daniel has donated his services to other Non-Profits such as Baby Basics, Healthy Start, The Cancer Society. In addition to the many nonprofit organizations, Daniel and his wife were the Co-Chairs of the Night of Champions Awards Dinner for 2017 and was in that roll again for 2018. Now, Daniel has taken his annual fundraising event and its slogan, and formed a Not-For Profit 501 (C) (3)Corporation called: The Party Hearty for Charity Foundation, Inc. ( formerly known as The Party With A Purpose Foundation, Incorporated)
